We went to the Festival of Trees at the Maritime Museum and saw gorgeous trees, had cookies and hot cocoa and listened to Mrs. Claus read books. When we saw kids sitting on Santas lap I asked Olivia if she wanted to tell him what she wanted for Christmas, too. She about broke my heart when she looked into my eyes and said quite seriously, "no, it's okay, I won't get anything for Christmas." Poor sweet thing! I set her straight right away.

| we went to the post office and mailed her letter to Santa-she was pretty excited and then when we went back another day she asked if Santa had her letter yet, and if we could check. :) |

Yet another fun adventure: the Candy Cane Train. There was hot cocoa, candy canes, cookies, elf story-tellers, singers and Santa. We rode from Bath to Wiscasset and it was pretty cool!
