New Hair!

So after going to places like Great Clips and Cost Cutters since I was a little girl I was in for quite a change when I cashed in my super sexy hair coupon from Jeff. I went to Veda for a cut and color. Let's just start off by saying you should NEVER color your hair from a box. And then you should NEVER EVER use black. Oops. I've been box coloring my hair for years and I'm going to be honest, I usually really like the results. The problem is even a fancy place like Veda can't really color over black without many processes and likely quite a bit of damage to the hair. After sitting in the chair with my stylist, Nellie, for about 15 minutes we finally decided that the best compromise for my hair would be to highlight it with a sort of caramely color and touch up the dark pieces. It took forever! After 2 hours we were almost finished but the salon was about to close so she didn't even have time to style it. No worries, though, I stlyed it the next day and after just one day I was used to it and even love it!

This is when it was black:

This is what I was going for:

This is what I got:

Not to shabby :) Thanks, Nellie!
