October 2016

Fall in New England does NOT disappoint! What a lovely kickoff we had with gorgeous colors and a special visit from Gramma and Grampa Schurz for Jeff's 29th (ahem, 40th...shh!) bday!

2nd session of swimming lessons-level 2!

at a XC race, ready to cheer for Cade (this was sadly the only race he ran because he was injured, and he got hurt running here :( Poor guy.)

Olivia packed her own back of things to do on the way to the race. She made a book!

a future runner?

Daddy did the announcing for the football team, so of course we went to a couple of games to watch the cheerleaders ;)

Livi's school had a Walk AT School day (since it's pretty rural, people don't walk TO school.) It was fun to be with her and the rest of the students.

Go Morse!

3rd annual trip to Rocky Ridge Orchard. Daddy's first time to come with us!

don't ask me where she gets these poses!

our porch with our own pumpkins from the garden!

We busted out the tepee again and she's been playing in it a bit more this go round.

yay! dance finally started!

Livi is taking the short classical session right before the class she normally takes as well.

an awesome game our neighbor gave Olivia. she loves it!

the best part of Fall-jumping in leaves!!!

Cade showing Livi how to do leaf rubbings

Spider Girl! Livi loved her costume and wanted to play in it before Halloween, so we played and practiced her face makeup.

carving jacko-o-lanterns. Livi loves to pick out the ooey gooey stuff. She drew a cat and Daddy carved it for her.

Olivia's school had a Halloween dance. It was so fun! Good thing we went, too, because she ended up getting sick on Halloween and couldn't trick or treat.

Daddy took the boat bottom apart for repairs and resealing, and we finally got to take it out one last time before winter, to test out the new motor. It was freezing but fun!

Cade brought his binoculars. We had an eagle hunt as something fun to do since we couldn't swim.

can you see the horses?!

family selfie!
