Still the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

We went to the Festival of Trees at the Maritime Museum and saw gorgeous trees, had cookies and hot cocoa and listened to Mrs. Claus read books. When we saw kids sitting on Santas lap I asked Olivia if she wanted to tell him what she wanted for Christmas, too. She about broke my heart when she looked into my eyes and said quite seriously, "no, it's okay, I won't get anything for Christmas." Poor sweet thing! I set her straight right away.

this is the face she makes now when you ask her to smile for the camera!

we also got to play in a replica of an old ship at the museum

once in a while we pick Daddy up from school and Livi loves to pretend her house is in one of the lockers

we went to the post office and mailed her letter to Santa-she was pretty excited and then when we went back another day she asked if Santa had her letter yet, and if we could check. :)

hanging our special annual ornament from my parents

decorating cookies at Nola and Olie's house :)

Build and Grow workshop at Lowes where Olivia make a Christmas Train that she LOVES

another chance to sit with Santa and she was so SHY and got all teary eyed from being a little nervous, poor thing.

Olivia's little friend Harrison was there, too

Yet another fun adventure: the Candy Cane Train. There was hot cocoa, candy canes, cookies, elf story-tellers, singers and Santa. We rode from Bath to Wiscasset and it was pretty cool!

an awesome model train with real steam!

how amazing is this smile?

all aboard!
